COMPETENCE THROUGH KNOW-HOW
SIRO looks back on decades of successful development in the decorative furniture fittings sector. An in-house tool and mold making department was set up 40 years ago to design and manufacture punching and bending tools and injection molds for plastic. The molds produced were used to manufacture furniture fittings and similar plastic parts on our own injection molding machines.
The ever-increasing globalization, changes in the decorative fittings sector and the associated outsourcing of production ultimately led to the reorientation of tool and mold making. The management decided to use the employees' years of experience in the field SIRO To offer plastics technology as a service.
The Team of SIRO Plastics technology – tool and mold making consists of highly trained and experienced specialists who are characterized by competence, reliability and flexibility. All sub-areas, from product development and CAD design to injection molding tools ready for series production, are covered.
Our machine park includes 10 injection molding machines of various sizes, with a clamping force of 60-320 tons and a maximum shot weight of up to 720 grams. The machine with a clamping force of 320 tons has a modern robot removal device that enables fully automatic part removal.
The production of prototypes as well as small and start-up series can be realized in the shortest possible time on the in-house injection molding machines. Our master tools not only enable rapid implementation, but also an important cost advantage for our customers. With the existing machines and equipment, we construct and manufacture injection molds and die-cast molds with mold sizes of up to 600 x 1000 mm.
Tool optimization and tool repairs are carried out by our specialists with great care. Milling, turning and die-sinking work as well as the design and manufacture of devices and machine components are further services that we offer our customers.
The strictest secrecy and the confidential and responsible handling of product information and data are a matter of course for us in every customer project.
